Inertia Driven System
The SBE 3 utilizes Benelli’s Inertia Driven System, which is known for its reliability and cleanliness. This system requires no adjustments and performs consistently across a wide range of ammunition types—from light field loads to powerful 3½” magnums. It is capable of firing over 500,000 rounds without failure, making it an ideal choice for serious waterfowlers.

Enhanced Functionality
To facilitate ease of use in various conditions, the SBE 3 features a larger bolt release and safety mechanism along with an outward angled drop lever. These enhancements allow for quicker operation even when wearing gloves. Additionally, the shotgun includes an Easy Loading System with a beveled loading port designed to streamline magazine loading while keeping the shooter’s focus on incoming birds.

Cryogenic Treatment
Benelli employs cryogenic treatment on its barrels to improve performance further. By cooling steel to -300° F, internal stresses are relieved, resulting in a smoother bore surface that reduces resistance against wads and shot charges. This process contributes to superior shot patterns and easier cleaning.
